Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4
The Fun Fourth Festival will take place over the course of two days in the Downtown Greensboro area. The event will kick off with the Freedom Run on Monday evening. The American Block Party will then take place in the Elm Street & Greene Street Parking Lot from 7-11pm, where admission is free. There will be live music from two different bands, great food, and cold beer.
The fun will begin again on Tuesday with the Fun Fourth Street Festival. From 1-8pm, there will be live performances, interactive games, vendors, community activities, and more. We know you will have a great time at the largest 4th of July festival in the state of North Carolina. The event will conclude with the Patriot Fireworks Concert at First National Bank Stadium. There will be live music once again, and the fireworks show will begin at 9pm.
Sunday, July 23 at 2pm
The Carolina Theatre of Greensboro will be playing The Sound of Music as part of its Summer Film Festival. This the perfect opportunity to bring together your family and closest friends to enjoy this classic movie and sing along to some of the famous tunes. Tickets are $7 for adults and $6 for students, teachers, seniors, and military.
Friday, August 4 at 7pm
As they are about to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, YES is going out on a summer tour. Don’t miss them as they make their way to the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. YESTIVAL will feature some of the band’s greatest hits, including “Roundabout” and “Starship Trooper.” Special guests at the concert will be Todd Rundgren and Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy.
